Chemical Peel

A chemical peel is most often used to improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin on the face or backs of hands. They are also effective on some spots and blemishes and acne scarring. The procedure removes the outer layer of cells, lightly exfoliating the skin to give a healthy glow.

From start to finish, a chemical peel takes about 30 to 45 minutes. After initial treatment, a chemical peel once every three months is recommended to maintain the results.
