Chin surgery reshapes the chin - either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery of the bone, to give a more balanced appearance to your face.
The two most common procedures are chin augmentation, which reshapes the chin by inserting a silicone implant under the skin, and chin reductions, which involve bone reduction with power bone instruments. The incision is usually hidden in the inside of your lower lip or just beneath the chin. The surgery takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the extent of the work that needs to be done.
