Spider Veins

Spider veins can be treated with a procedure called sclerotherapy. During the treatment the veins are injected with a sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view. It isn't just a cosmetic treatment, as the procedure may also relieve symptoms such as night cramps, aching, burning and swelling. It is a relatively painless procedure which has been used in the UK for over 50 years.

A typical session only lasts 20-45 minutes, during which one injection is given for every inch of the spider veins, typically between 5 and 40 injections.
